NFL Week 8 2011: Kansas City Chiefs v San Diego Chargers

The Kansas City Chiefs didn't start the season as they would have likes with 3 straight losses and being held to under 10 points in two of those games. They have however turned their fortunes around since then with wins in their last three starts (scoring an average of 26 points). The Chiefs play host to the San Diego Chargers in NFL week 8 Monday night football with the Latest NFL Lines seeing the Chiefs as (+3) home underdogs. This is in half a point from the opening spread of +/- 3.5. The current over under line is at 44.5 which is where it opened and in NFL odds betting the Chiefs are currently +140 (2.4) and the Chargers are -155 (1.65).

So far this season he is ranked #7 in average yards with 285.8 and a completion rate of 64.7%. His interceptions are up and his TD passes are down however he is leading a 4-2 team and has ample time to improve those stats.

The verdict - Well here at our handicapped numbers are basically right in line with the current points spread, odds and total so no play in those markets for us.
