NFL week 7 betting markets have been seeing plenty of movements since the opening lines were posted. None more so than the Miami Dolphins v Denver Broncos game which opened with the Dolphins as (-3) point spread favorites. That number has moved by a full 4 points with the Latest NFL Point Spread line offering the Dolphins at (+1) and Broncos (-1). The moneyline odds for this game opened with Miami at -145 (1.69) and Denver +131 (2.31), currently they are priced at Miami -102 (1.98) and Denver -108 (1.93). Meanwhile the over under total has come in a point to it's current line of o/u 41.5.
Miami are 0-5 straight up with losses to the Jets (6-24), Chargers (16-26), Browns (16-17), Texans (13-23) and Patriots (24-38). They are 0-5 against the closing point spread and have scored an average of 15 points per game while conceding an average of 25.6 leaving them with a points differential of -2.12. The Broncos are 1-4 straight up with their lone win coming against the Bengals (24-22) and their losses being to the Chargers (24-29), Packers (23-49), Titans (14-17) and Raiders (20-23). They have an average point's differential of -1.4 as they are scoring an average of 21 points per game and allowing 28.
The NFL Monday Night game where we will see the Jacksonville Jaguars host the Baltimore Ravens has seen the point spread stay at Jacksonville (+9) however they have blown out in the odds market where they opened at +297 (3.97), with the Latest NFL Money line Odds seeing them out to +404 (5.04). The Ravens opened at -340 (1.29) and now around -475 (1.21). These are both significant moves on the money line odds and with no corresponding movement in the point spread line.
In over under betting lines there are two games which have had the line move by 2 points from the opening. Those being the NY Jets v San Diego Chargers which has moved from 45.5 to the current 43.5 and the New Orleans Saints v Indianapolis Colts which has moved out 2 points to its current o/u 49.5.
What does theFootballLines.com think of those moves? Our numbers agree with the Denver move and the odds are coming in closer to where we priced them. We have a play on the Broncos on the money and even though their odds have dropped since with some line shopping amongst the Top Online Sportsbooks there should still be some value on offer. In the Monday Night game we like the Ravens on the point spread at -9 and will preview that game shortly.
