NFL week 12 wraps up with Monday night football, when the New Orleans Saints host the New York Giants. The NFL Point Spread is currently New Orleans -7.5 which is out a full point from the opening spread of -6.5. The over under total is in half a point from the opening to currently sit at o/u 51 and in money line odds betting the Saints are -303 (1.303) while the Giants are +289 (3.89).

The 7-3 Saints are (2nd) in the league for average points scored per game with 31.3 however they are (1st) for total yards 436.9 & passing yards 319.4. They are 6-4 against the closing point spread, 5-5 in over under betting and despite their impressive record they are +$1.00 against the closing money line odds (for $100 bets each week). It is not only their offense (31.3 ppg) that is holding their own, the Saints defense is allowing an average of (22.8) for an overall points differential of +8.5. At home this season New Orleans have a perfect 4-0 record with wins over CHI (30-13), HOU (40-33), IND (62-7) & TB (27-16).

Eli Manning's Giants have a difficult assignment in front of them as they look to avoid losing three in a row. The losses to the Eagles (10-17) at home last week and to the 49ers (20-27) before that will have given them plenty to think about. In NFL betting results the Giants are 4-5-1 against the spread, 6-4 in over under wagering and show a healthy profit of +$548 against the closing money line for $100 bets each week. They currently have a neutral point's differential of zero as they have allowed and conceded an average of 22.8 points per game.

The verdict - Well here at The FootballLines.com our point spread and money line numbers are in line with the sportsbooks , so no plays there. We do however see some value on the under and have taken the under 51.
